We are proud of our standard and continue year after year to provide the best coaching available to our campers. Our coaching staff offers a range of coaching styles. Each coach can demonstrate as well as communicate clearly the technical aspects of the game. The coaching staff has been chosen for their ability to motivate and teach with a positive attitude.

Darryl Gee, Director

The director and founder of Darryl Gee Soccer Academy has earned national recognition as both a player and coach. Darryl's professional playing career highlights include playing alongside the legendary Franz Bechenbauer and Giorgio Changlia and the darryl gee, playing for the cosmo's 1983

famous New York Cosmos of the 1980's. He was a player member of the 1990 national champions Maryland Bays of the A.P.S.L.. Darryl's achievements include All-American status, Captain of the U.S. Youth National Teams, and member of the U.S. Olympic and Senior National Teams. In 1992, he was named to the New York Cosmos Alumni Team. His coaching career is as successful as his playing career. Darryl is a U.S.S.F. "A" Licensed coach and Director of Coaching and Player Development for Loudoun Soccer. Darryl was recently inducted into the Maryland Soccer Hall of Fame

Evans Malyi, Program Director
Evans Malyi played at the University of Maryland College Park before joining the Washington Mustangs, a professional USISL team. Evans has been coaching youth soccer for 12 years, the past eight focusing on player development. He is currently Head Coach for DC Stoddert U18 Girls and U14 boy’s teams. Evans Holds USSF “A” License and USSF National Youth License.

Keith Neale
Keith played high school soccer at Oakland Mills High School in Columbia, MD where he was a four year starter. He was also a member of the Columbia Kick which won the U16 USYSA National Championships in 1982. He was a four-year starter at the University of Charleston in West Virginia and was National association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) all conference player. Keith is currently the head coach for the Potomac Cougars FC U15 team, NCSL division 2. Keith holds a National Youth License and USSF National "D" License.

Sarah Wetmore
Sarah was a three year starter at West Virginia University. She holds a degree in Athletic Coaching Education. She has been and Academy coach since 1997. Sarah holds USSF National "D" License.

Manny Woldamanuel
Manny was a 4 year starter at Wootton High School in Montgomery County. He played his club ball for Baltimore Bays two time USSA National Champions. Manny also played for Maryland ODP (Olympic Development Program) for 5 years. He made the ODP Regional team for 2 years. Manny has been coaching soccer for over 5 years, he coached both Classic and Travel teams for Potomac Soccer Club and MSC soccer club. Manny has been an academy coach since 2003. Manny is a USSF Licensed coach.
